CLOUD COMPUTING SERVICE MODELS--IaaS,PaaS & SaaS

Image
Hi guys, welcome to another blog Today, we are going to see the different types of cloud computing service models. So let's get started. What's in it. First, we are going to see what is cloud computing, then the different types of service models. And then we are going to see the key features, pros and cons of each. Then we are going to see the top companies providing these service models and finally, the end users of these service models. What is cloud computing? Before we go into cloud computing, what does the term cloud mean? Cloud refers to a network or internet it provides sources, all public and private networks. So many applications execute on the cloud. And also it is present at a very remote location. So the users can access these files and applications that is present in the cloud from any device, unless, and until it has strong internet connectivity. Now let's look at few of the cloud computing benefits. The first is cloud computing reduces cost. So it does a, pay a...

TYPES OF CLOUD COMPUTING

Now let's discuss about or get understanding on the types of cloud computing. We can categorize the different types of cloud computing based on two white categories, one being deployment model and the other one being service model. Let's discuss about the deployment model. First deployment model realists categorized into three types. First one is public and then private and then hybrid cloud. In other words, public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid. It will be easy for me to explain. And also it'll be easy for you to understand if I walk you through this example, consider the different types of vehicles we use to commute from one place to another. For example, if I want to travel, I can pick a bus, which is accessible to anyone I get in and I pay for the seat that I occupy and I pay for the time that I will be traveling in it. And I'm done. Cost is very less here as similar kind of thing happens in the public cloud. I pay only for the resource that I use and I pay for ho...

WHAT IS CLOUD COMPUTING ?

Imagine you're the owner of a small software development firm. And you want to scale your business up. However, a small team size, the unpredictability of demand and limited resources are roadblocks for this expansion. That's when you hear about cloud computing, but before investing money, You decided to draw up the differences between on-premise and cloud based computing to make a better decision. Differences between on-premise and cloud based computing  Scalability When it comes to scalability, you pay more for an on-premise setup and get lesser options too. Once you've scaled up, it is difficult to scale down. And often leads to heavy losses in terms of infrastructure and maintenance costs, cloud computing. On the other hand allows you to pay only for how much you use with much easier and faster provisions for scaling up or down next. Server storage Server storage on premise systems need a lot of space for their servers, not withstanding the power and maintenance hassles...
